Belinda Booth
My name is Belinda Booth. I am a children’s author poet and writer . I was inspired to write Valentina's Fun Day Out, by our granddaughter Valentina. My husband and I went shopping with Valentina to our local shopping Mall, called Crystal Peaks. We had such a good time, it inspired me to write the book.
I am also a poet, and write articles for an online magazine called Fusion, one of which was about women’s health and aging as I feel women are put under so much pressure to look younger.
I also just finished writing, What Georgie Did, which is a book is aimed at teenagers and is about the environment, and British culture. It’s quite challenging writing for teenagers! They get bored easily, but I hope that with my strong, funny and opinionated characters they will love it.

Valentina’s Fun Day Out
Valentina's Fun Day is aimed at children from 3-7 years old.
It’s a bright summer day and Valentina is excited, she’s going out with nanny and grandad. She cannot wait because she knows it’s going to be fun.
Nanny and grandad take Valentina to Crystal Peaks shopping centre, and into a children’s shop called Dog and Gate which is every child’s dream shop, because you can shop with your dog.
There is also a big ice cream parlour in the middle of the shop, which makes the shopping experience even more magical.
Valentina has an amazing time shopping and making new friends.
Indeed, it’s a fun shopping adventure.
